Frederick J. Kimball
- 1866 – The Atlantic and Pacific Railroad in the United States is chartered by a special act of Congress.
- 1903 – Frederick J. Kimball (pictured), American civil engineer who was instrumental in the formation of Norfolk and Western Railway, dies (b. 1844).
