Introduction

This is a guide on how to replace the vibration motor from inside the NexiGo NS32. There are 5 specific steps in this guide that describe how to take the vibration motor out of the controller. Be careful not to damage any of the internal components.

Tools

Step 1

Orient the controller so that it is face down.

Step 2

Remove the eight 9 mm Phillips screws that secure the rear case.

Step 3

Lift the rear case up and off.
You may need to use an opening tool to help release the rear case, but avoid using excessive force so you don't damage the controller.

Step 4

Grip the white vibration motor connections and pull them directly out of their sockets.

Step 5

Gently lift out the vibration motors.
The vibration motors may be glued in place. If you're having trouble removing them, apply some high-concentration isopropyl alcohol to loosen the adhesive.
